I've come accross CFK Cutlery [DO not link to dealers that do not support Bladeforums].

The blades are made of D2 steel. Full tang blades. I've heard good and bad about D2 steel.

Do any of you have any experience with these brands? Do you think they could stand up to occasional heavy bushcraft/outdoor use?

Trying to get various sizes of fixed blade knives appropriate for everyday carry and/or play and bushcraft. Blade sizes I'd like are about 3, 4, and 5 inches in length. 5.5" is max legal length here in Texas. I try to buy only full tang. I have ESEE Izula 2 and Ontario RAT 5 with aftermarket scales and sheath that are my favorite two knives. I try to keep knife prices under $100, although the RAT ended up costing me $210 with the add ons.

Suggestions?

Thanks for your time and opinions.

Lose the links you posted.
Non BF dealers.

First if you are a moderator you should say so. And I would have gladly just quietly left. Otherwise, I'd appreciate you take that tone somewhere else.

I am not associated in any way or even know anyone at either knife company. So, the answer to your request is No. I am not selling or trying to advertise. I am seeking other member opinions of a product. The world does not begin and/or end inside any forum. If it is breaking rules to provide as much info as possible while asking others with possible experience with a product to share their opinions, - then I request banishment. I'll never be welcome here anyway, and I'll honor the forum wishes and gladly never return.

So is this against the rules to provide links as information? I'll know if and when thread disappears. And happily go about my business and take my forum experiences somewhere that welcomes average Joe.

Good bye.

Don't need to be a moderator to be reminded of the rules. You are free to stay of leave as you wish, but we have rules here.

You don't have to like them, but they will most certainly be adhered to. As an aside, most any other forum experience you seek out will also undoubtedly have rules, possibly more of them. Asking to be banned over a simple comment? Really?

I just don't think people deserve to be subjected to the melodramatic hypersensitivity, we have enough of that already.
You posted links, and the only comment was to remove the links, you went off on a tirade regarding not being wanted or whatever else.
