Anyone have any first hand knowledge on CFK cutlery? They make a lot of big, beefy, decent looking knives. They claim to be made of D2 tool steel and be 100% made in USA. Many opinions out there about them actually being kinda high end “pakistan junk”. Most reviewers say even though they don’t believe the “made in USA” or “D2 tool steel” hype, maintain they are still worth the $100ish price tag. I love tantos, so I kinda wish busse or kin would just make some that look like them made of SR77 or SR101. I’d gladly pay double or more for knives that look like theirs from a known reputable company. A 1/4” x 10” blade awesome looking tanto claiming to be “100% hand forged in USA” sounds too good to be true, so I’m sure it is. Just wondering about them.
