CG ASH1 Favorites

I am killing time at the San Jose Int'l Airport right now. I have seven CG ASH1s thus far, with more on the way. Below are my favorites, in terms of each aspect of configuration:

Favorite Blade Finish, Overall: Double Cut
Favorite Blade Coating (Excluding Double Cut): Desert Olive, then Olive Drab, then Black (I have only Black thus far, but have Desert Olive and Olive Drab on order)
Favorite Canvas Micarta: Black (I have both colors)
Favorite G-10: Black/Tan (thus far, but have Black and Olive Drab on order)
Favorite Handle Thickness: Magnum (I have both thicknesses)
 
ken, are there any colors/combinations that you didn't buy? :D :D :D
 
My favorite is the one with scratches on it from hacking threw a couple coconuts. Its also missing most of the coating near the tip from drilling a hole in a 4x4 to practice bow and drill. The way Im using it the color doesnt really matter much as it wont really be there long.Could be pink for all I care.:rolleyes:Seriously though it started off OD. I do like the mags alot.:D
 
This is a good thread since I have been debating ordering an ASH1 (note I do want to limit this to 1) but I cannot decide what combination...

(1) Double Cut - Magnum Olive Drab
(2) Double Cut - Magnum Black Canvas
(3) Olive Drab - Magnum Black Canvas
(4) Desert Olive - Magnum Tan Canvas
(5) Black - Magnum Black & Tan G-10

and of course the list can go on...

Hey, How would Olive Drab look with Magnum Olive Drab G10? Any pictures?

Maybe this'll help you decide about #5:

You might want to consider adding Desert Olive with Black Canvas to your list too.

Traded the OD w/ Black Canvas Mags...

Trying to resist buying a replacement as well as an OD w/ Tan Canvas Mags... :eek:

Same here -- I love my DC with the black mags but am this close to ordering the OD w/ Tan.
 
1. I have a Desert Olive w/ Black G10 Mags.

2. On order, Desert Olive w/ OD Green G10 Mags.

I love Desert Olive! I am looking forward to seeing what it looks like with the OD Green Mags on it.

Desert Olive/Sage with tan canvas mags and black canvas mags. A nice side by side is all I need.

could someone take a pic of desert olive with black canvas next to DC with black canvas?
 
I've been busy buying a family vehicle and a couple other maker's knives. But if I could swing buying one, it will be a DC/Tan.
 
These ASH's are a lot like potato chips. Hard to stop at one. I have one custom and one CG DC/Blk Mags. I'd really like another. But the ECCKS is coming up and I might want to buy a non Busse for a change.
