It made it to Canada!!!!!
Brian was REALLY busy which slowed things down but the BA has made it to me at last!!

My initial impressions are; great knife, love the tall/deep blade, perfect thickness at .187, and AWESOME handle ergos BUT IMO it has a little to much handle for the length of blade.
I would LOVE a choiless or small choil (smooth coat Basic'esque) BATac with a pommel like the BA-e where the pommel was even with the end of the scales. Similar to this,

but small choil or choiless.
I haven't used it yet but can't wait to smooth the crinkle coat!!!

Brian's kydex is amazing!!!
Seamless and PERFECT retention with ZERO blade friction!!!

It's late, I'm semi-impaired and YOU KNOW how I bleed when I play with knives all drunked up!!!
I promise to try to get some pics up of the BA beating along with a Basic 5, 7, 9 comparison this weekend!!!!
