hello,

I'm in the market for either or both of these blades and was just wondering if or when they will be re-released from Busse.
My fiance just ordered me some BWM's direct and said they were great to deal with.
It's nice to deal with a company that actually "supports the troops", Canadian and American alike.

thanks in advance for any info,

Twoshots

should be about 4-5 years:cool:

You could always contact the shop especially if your active duty or LEO. no promises but maybe????

419 923 6471

otherwise, the exchange is where its at:thumbup:

The Knob Creek shows often have one or two, but last show they were gone before I ever saw them, and I was in the initial hotel room rush. It's not unheard of for a knife to be re-released (i.e. the ASH-1), but it's pretty rare, and I recall that Jerry specified that the NMFBM was a one-time release when he announced it. As knife hunter said, your best-bets are the custom shop and the BladeForums Exchange -- don't forget that "Wanted to Buy: Knives" is also a place to post.

Strikes me as very unlikely. Additionally, when Busse does bring a model back, it is changed in some way. So your best bet is to haunt the Exchange and eBay, or post a WTB.

Yes, I don't believe they actually makes any particular model again. Sometimes they are similar but that's about it. Once in a while, you might see a variant or ones at the shows but they are hard to come by.
So your best bet is to do what everyone here does, hope and pray to make come sort of connection and find one here that someone is willing to let go...
Good luck.
Dan

Don't you guys realize that Jerry’s career is the test phase for Busse Combat? Once he and Dan retire, the most popular models will then be included in regular product lines administered by Katie, Paul, Maddie and extended family, under the direction of the Busse board of directors including Auntie Amy and Uncles Garth and Porkerson.

So just wait another 25 years or so, and you’ll be able to get whatever you need. :D

How many of the original old school hogs do you expect to be here in 25 years? I'm not getting any younger.. :D

I'm hoping for an INFI Hobo model to keep in the drawer of my nightstand at the nursing home.
