Is there a difference between computer generated and the decorated version? Which one do I have and is there a name for it? It is marked B98 on the inside of the slabs.

You have a Unique Sebenza - in other words, the design on your knife has not been exactly repeated on any other knife. The design does not have a name! The CGG or computer decorated graphics are 7 designs that are repeated almost identically and can be ordered by name. You can see these designs at http://www.chrisreeve.com/computergraphic.html .

The mark inside the knife handle, B98, is an in-house batching number and all the handles (whether destined for plain or decorated knives) machined in the same batch during 1998 would have been marked that way.

Hope this answers your questions!

And it is a nice design, in case you had a question about that

Nimrod - sorry you couldn't get to our site on the link - try going into our site at the "main" address - www.chrisreeve.com , go into the section for called "Integral Lock Folders" and then into "Computer Generated Graphic Designs" - I would post the picture here myself if I only knew how!!
