It was about time I finally got myself a Busse Chopper! I bought my first Busse SHBA 20 years or so ago and my largest to date are my Boss Jacks (I do have a LBTG ordered though)
Any ways, the CGFBM has haunted me since I first laid eye's on one and the muddy snake combo is my favorite. I decided I would keep an eye out for one, quite a wile ago.
The opportunity and timing came together last week and I scored my grail. To top it off I ended up with the sheath also (buyer for the sheath backed out) I have been playing around with leather sheath making and it's obvious the amount of time, materials and skill that went into this sheath, it is just amazing. I made out the makers mark and Googled them. Rowe's Leather, it is there Quad Position sheath with Pinloc, alligator and rattlesnake inlays.

I'm just very happy with this rig and dealing with bigshowrenfro was a pleasure, not to mention he shipped from Canada on Monday and it was here this morning - Less than 4 days to Vegas!

That's a Beautiful combo.

That's a great knife and a great sheath. Enjoy!

The cgFBM is my all time favorite Busse.

Great score.

Thanks guy's, I had to fondle it a bit before I headed out to work this morning. I cant believe I finally found one!

I love my Mud Snake it is in the permninant collection
Nice Blade and that Cowdex is pretty sweet too.

Oh, can someone explain the difference between the CGFBM and the NMFBM?

cgFBM has flat grind, corrugated bevels (those ridges you see), and 10" long blade.

NMFBM is full convex grind, smooth, and 11.5" long, and is substantially heavier.

Busse perfection!

The MudSnake has called to me since day one. As far as I am concerned the best large chopper (when considering weight and fatigue), The best looking large chopper, and a sheath do die for as well.

Perfect package.

I have the B11, and KZII to fill light weight/power ratio, and the KZII seems to be good at destroying stuff, but I do miss my FMBLE!

Thanks for the pics, thats a Killer knife and sheath combo, they look perfect together.

That's been a grail blade that I haven't been able to find yet. Maybe some day? Congrats on a great score. Now go beat on it :)

. Thanks...think I may like the CG most...that mud snake is hot! The bevels are cool too!
