part 2... thanks for looking
Right, here are 3 pieces of nylone rope.... and again, didn't even feel hitting them, I may has well have just been swinging it through air then hitting the wood

Just a nice pic of the handle..........

..... stabbed into an old stump on our apple tree.... dead hard wood, don't worry

If you look really closely, you can see a 'drunk grind curve', which proves that this is really a one off
(hint: its about 2" down the blade!)

And finally... here is an old felled tree... its dead, and although its not overly hard in the middle, its very hard on the outside... (anyone like Dime chocolate bars??? "Soft on the outside, crunchy on the inside"?? This tree is the oposite
)
This is just one chop, and I'm very impressed with the bite it took....

My blade is a CGFBM, Black blade, black canvas micarta handles... I could only afford the cheapest offering, but its still INFI and its ROCK BLEEDIN' HARD!!!
After this beating, although not massive (I hit a few other bits of wood along the way), there is NO edge wear AT ALL... NIL, SQUAT!!! Just took it inside, rubbed the dirt off, oiled it, put it in its current cardboard sheath, sung it too sleep.......... sorry, did I just say that last part out loud???
If I had more time, I'd beat this thing to death, but I'm not sure thats actually possible... and boy this is great fun...
Also like to state that this is 'out of the box' edge, no tampering as yet, and it will shave hair... but its not popping sharp, needs a small bit of pressure applied, but non the less, it cuts hair still...
Right, cheers peeps for reading, and hope the pics are OK for ya'll.....
All the best,
Alex
