Anyone know who did the work on this one?

Also, how would I go about removing the handle scales? I think I read somewhere to use slightly bigger drill bits inside the tube fastener?

You can use a 1/4 in bit in preferably a drill press to remove the handles. Make sure you're careful because the bit can catch and cause the blade to spin (hence the drill press :)). Also, sometimes, if the bit catches, I can cause the tubes to spin. Make sure you don't let that happen because it will heat up the handle and could damage it. I have tubes and handle screws. I use screws on most of my hard users.

Here's an example pic. This awesome blade has moved on the another home :(.

The guy that did the job on that one posted pics and wrote about how he did it, i believe it was just over a year ago but i can't remember who it was.

You definitely need to clamp the knife down before drilling; someone here got badly cut by a spinning knife.

Jerry has posted here that INFI can go up to over 800F without losing it's temper, so a spinning tube is an aggravation, but will not damage your knife.

Thanks guys. I don't need any whirling Infi, I probably won't try and take the handles off myself.

Thanks drift draft. Man, that thing is so beautiful. Too bad he's not a craftsman here on the forum and I bet the chances of getting the custom shop to do that are slim to none. My dream is losing gusto, I'll probably end up just sending mine in for a black recoat and black and tan g10, that's always a winning combo.

There is an Aussie member here called Tinbasher who does that mirror polish work to knives….. I would guess its his work.

norcalblacktail and the busse custom shop have already told me that they can not do that finish on the cbt cgfbm.
i was hoping the guy who did that finish was in the usa but i think he is in australia.

You would be correct, it had a scale change after I sold it to Bruce he wanted me to fit local Jarrah scales.
Bruce has since passed on and I have no idea where it is now.
Sheath is waxed cotton purely for storage

Richard where did you purchase that wax cotton. I have had a look around and could not find any that looked like that. What’s the Velcro patch for? Would you consider doing another one? One with a competition finish so less work.

Hi, the velcro patch is for the belt loop, it folds over into a pouch for storage
Got 5m of the wax cotton on Ebay, can't pm you for some reason.
