CGFBM vs. Christmas Tree

I should have taken video, but my Battle Mistress made quick (fun) work of our 7 foot Christmas tree!! Our garbage men have been lagging on picking them up, and we've been having lots of rain, so I decided to put my CGFBM to work and chop up our tree. The limbs fell off the tree with just a few swift strokes, and I chopped the trunk into 3 sections. The polished 20DPS edge I applied worked very impressively, and was every bit as razor sharp after chopping as it was before the tree. INFI never ceases to amaze! :D

Ha, nice 👍🏻
Might have scared the neighbor a bit :D

In my suburban beach community...very likely haha! That white SUV pulled up and the mom quickly hustled her kid inside after asking why I didn't just leave it out or burn it on the beach, and this skinny hipster who was smoking by the dumpster walked away briskly! :)

Now I want a cgfbm. You rock. Nice use of a Christmas tree too!

Thanks! I sold the first one I got and missed it so much. Thanks to a bf member I was lucky enough to trade into another one. I put my own edge on it and started using it right away to make er a keeper. Wife calls it the "scary knife" LOL!

Wives do that kinda stuff. I tend to use my keepers the second they're keepers too. Just helps to think that I won't get what it cost me out of it if I choose to sell it.

I have to admit there is something somewhat impractical but totally enjoyable about using big knives for day to day tasks... :D There are many tasks I could probably accomplish around home with a small axe but you can bet it is normally done with a large Busse. The neighbours don't bat an eye at me now... ;)

that's awesome! 20dps is what I keep most of my big blades at...no surprise infi performed so well:D

Thanks for sharing, just another notch in INFI's belt. And that gives me a great idea for next year's Christmas tree disposal lol going to steal your idea but with the SHE2.

Nice!!! I'd do it to mine but I don't think the wife would appreciate me chopping up our fake tree

Those pics of little resingirl are from 6 - 8 years ago. She's all growed up now; in her own apartment, and working for a local bakery making cookies, cupcakes, and cakes. Even before she went pro, she could make a great macaron.
