I like the size of that one and agree the bell is nice. I really liked those first ones awhile back with all the engraving on the blade. Just didn't put it together. I do for some reason lean towards the shorter versions.

And those sheaths!!! Beautiful and an art form in itself.

Beauty. Kinda Chitlangi-like! Wheres all them guys last month that were looking for ladies knives? Here it is!

Really liking these :)
Btw. where is Snowwolf today?

I already got one of these and still chewing yesterday's 175$
Plus I sent my IBBB for a rehandling job at a local knifemaker.

So the wife pressure meeter is running in red zone.

I gotta let it cool off a little :D

Maybe I oughta get me one of the them wife pressure meters. After 40 years I'm pretty good at guesstimating but a accurate meter might be a handy thing.

Looks like this one's mine. Since coming back from Darjeeling and not being able to find one locally I've been hankering. Not my first HI blade but my first Khukri.

Congrats TLR! Still seems weird to me that its so hard to find a good Khuk in India but I guess the tourist industry is more lucrative there for "tourist" models? Good to know HI has already done the work to find Kamis willing to make the good ones for us! Love the sheath!

Thank you for giving this beauty a loving home.

Well I was only there for a couple of days and had a friend there what was from across the border in Nepal but he wasn't able to source anything in the short time I was there that wasn't a touristy wall hanger. I was actually in Bagdogra most of the time.

Thank you Yangdu. Any chance you know the weight on this one? Just curious.

The one good Kukri which I had seen in India actually came from Nepal. :D Somebody got it from a vacation in Nepal a loooong time ago.
To be honest I haven't had a chance to see lots of Kukris in India and of course there have to be some decent Indian Kukris as well. How else would they equip their Gurkha units?
