I was watching primetime COPS last week (fox at 8:00), and an officer had a chalker sling on with a shotgun attached to it(i cant remember whether it was a benelli or a mossemburg). They were doing a drug bust, and when the officers made the takedown, there was a foot chase, and the sling worked flawlessly. I couldn't see if there was an emerson attached to it :).

I've had sub's, carbines, and shotgun's slung from mine and they're absolutely fantastic. Leaps and bounds above any of the shoulder and arm type slings that I've tested/used. The gun is always at the ready, allows you to shoulder your weapon extremely fast, and no interference with weapons/equipment mounted at your waist/side/back. Alone, you wouldn't believe how it takes the hanging weight off of the shoulders/back ~ but when used with the "hi-port weapons catch". . .what a sweet piece of equipment !

Of the 3 types I prefer the "criss-cross back."

A definite must for those in the "tactical" field ! And not bad if your just out hunting too (no sub's ~ your typical game animals) !
