I got an email from Brian Andrews that he is shipping my Camp Knife back home.

Where does it go from here?

It stays home, I don`t think anyone will want it!

John, stop being so hard on yourself. Yeah there were some MINOR F&F issues, but as a whole alot of us don't really care about stuff like that. Your knife performed admirably next to some of the best makers here on BF. Your knives are a great value, and frankly if you spent another 5 hours per knife on F & F, I wouldn't be able to afford them (just like some of the other makers you competed against).

Those of us that know your work are not at all bothered by what little he found "wrong" with this knife.
Your knives are the best working knives I've used.

I agree with the others John. I don't care about perfection, I care about cost and functionality. You make excellent products!

I aree with the rest of the guys. Minor fit&finnish doesn't bother me. I like tough, reliable, working knives at great prices.

Frankly if you made perfect, pretty knives I wouldn't buy them.

But hey...what do I know. I am just a nut who will pound a knife through a canteen cup just to prove a point.:)

Well said and for any reading this post that don't have any of John's knives we are talking about tiny, tiny flaws that the average Joe would not even notice. I was most impressed with the fit and finish on my JK knives and am sure I will be just as pleased with my next one the Knatchet !

John,
Nothing wrong with that knife, in my eyes.
If I did not already have the RUSK MAX on order, I'd be seriously thinking about relieving you of it.

I think it's a great design. You know that is high praise from me, when I don't recommend a clip on it to 'improve' the concept, as I pretty much do with everything else.
