here's some of my many pics... it was indeed a lot of fun.. we look forward to to it every year.. we were there for 4 and half days.

we encountered some pretty wild weather... we had 2 days of off and on rain, with freezing cold temps in the evenings and morning's..

the property is absolutely gorgeous.. we( Ca. archers) are all really lucky to be able to be a part of such an amazing community.. we have made some great friends over the years...

our little dude got to spend his (8th) birthday at this shoot, for the second year in a row.. here he is with his new Swiss Army knife.. he had a blast and was a crack shot through-out the shoot..

my father in law.. a.k.a. Gearman79..
IMG_9670.jpg

the ever so popular "steel" target, with all of it's victims.. the misses and I were the only 2 to hit it, we each put 1 out of 2 arrows in there.. it is worth double the points, if you don't hit it say bye bye to your arrows.. they actually had another target a few yards behind it, that you could use if you didn't want to risk the arrow loss..
IMG_9647.jpg

another cool target.. you get 20 seconds to all hit 5 of the carps.. here is our older son collecting/fishing for arrows..
IMG_9618.jpg

this one is a lot of fun.. the target goes in circles and you have to hit the coyote as is passes the door and as it passes again in the back..

more to come..

some more..

IMG_9642.jpg

both or our boys got new bows and were shooting them for the first time at this shoot... our older son bumped up to a light weight adult bow and the little dude got big brothers old bow.. both of them did really well..

Outstanding pics once again! I always enjoy these posts of yours Mike!

i just realized i didn't take any knife pics.. what was i thinking.. i carried/used a SAK camper, my EDC Benchmade mini griptillian and a David Farmer Tribal Utility Belt knife.. my old faithful ML camp knife saw lots of work as well...

there were a few knifemakers there this year.. here's some pics of Ca. A.B.S mastersmith Henry Torres... he makes some really nice knives, he has been here a few other times over the years and it's been great see his work eveolve..

Left my point and shoot at home so I don't have any good "action" shots, but here are the few I took with my big camera.
