Chamfer Lockbar?

I recently got a Ferrum Forge Falcon, and I like it a lot. However, The lockbar has a very sharp edge on it, and when combined with the high lockbar tension it creates a lot of discomfort. Is there any way to chamfer the edge of the lockbar without damaging the anodization?

Unless somebody knows something I don't, removing any material will also remove the anodizing. If you grind away to create a chamfer you'll definitely need to re-anodize.

Ah, I worded that wrong. I know that removing the lockbar material will remove that ano in that area. My question is more whether I can do that without making it look like crap. If I can do it fairly precisely, it would look pretty nice, IMO, especially if I can get a mirrorish finish on it.

If it were a straight lockbar, I would just file it off with one of my stones. Unfortunately, it is curved and I don't have a circular file fine enough to do a decent job.

Failing that, can anybody point me to a good guide on anodizing with a section on color matching?
