Champion plus SAK

I saw a Victorinox “54525 Champion Plus” at Walmart it appears to be the same as the SwissChamp except it dose not have pliers. Dose anyone know anything about the “Champion Plus”, I have been unable to find any info on line. Thanks.

I have one. You're right Frank K, it is the same as the Swisschamp but without the pliers. You'd be surprised how much lighter it is without them. It's a good match with the Mini-Leatherman. I used to carry that pair daily only then you didn't get the Pen and pin.

I believe there used to be a Victorinox model called the Champion that was exactly what you describe: a SwissChamp without the pliers. (Actually, I don't think it had the glasses screwdriver in the corkscrew or the pen either.)

Maybe the "Champion Plus" is a reissue of the original Champion?

From the descriptions the Champion Plus sounds like the reissue of the original Champion model (# 1.57 93) with the addition of -
ballpoint Pen
jeweller's screwdriver
straight Pin
multi-purpose hook
