Chances of M390 flippers or backlocks coming in 2018?

Big Spyderco fan here but don't really follow the insider scoop on what's coming next.

What I'm hoping for in 2018: A Spyderco flipper +framelock design similar to the Domino but with a 3.5" blade, or a backlock design such as the Native (preferably both :)), in actual M390 steel.

What is the likelihood that will happen in 2018? Is it worth waiting for, or should I look elsewhere?

ETA: I'm aware of some M390 offerings like the PM2 at DlTrading. But I'm after the specific configurations above, backlock or flipper + framelock.

Amen brother. :-) Sal, I hope you're reading. If you can slightly spill the beans along the lines of "good things will come to those who wait," even better! :-)

I am always in for a good back lock, and if it has a great steel, that is that much better.

Gimme an M390/20cv/204p Mantra liner lock in blue, polished g10 and I'd be a happy camper.

One model out there that Spydie has and meets the specs I asked for--but hard to get and no color choices--is there's a Domino model floating around in 204p with blue G10. I love that Domino flipper design, hope that they come out with more colors and steels of that specific model in 2018 including M390/20cv/204p. In fact if I liked that loud blue G10 that is available, I'd get one of those now that are available on Bentobox. Problem is, for $200 and change, I'm holding out for a knife that has also has a color that I like. :-) Picky, I know.

If that's all that's holding you back you might look at the aftermarket. It's a very basic scale. Should be inexpensive and easy for a maker.

Finally went with the Domino in CTS-XHP in the blue weave, and absolutely delighted with both the knife, and the steel.

And a good thing I did, too. Looks like the Domino is dc'd in the new catalog. That's too bad. This knife in M390/20cv would sell like crazy.

Domino is a winner. Really good performance with the cts steel, ergos are great. Not too big, not too small.. Nice to have the flipper and the spidie hole.

Maybe Eric has a DOM2 in the works?

That'd be pretty wicked. The Domino feels like an anomaly in the world titanium framelock flippers. Most of them are either really big or really small. The Domino sits right in the middle(which is perfect).

I'm betting you'll love yours, maximus. I love the blue G10 on the 204p model, but that checkered carbon fiber is awesome. May be my favorite carbon fiber Spyderco put out. It feels great in hand. Lots of traction while also being smoothed out. CTS-XHP is pretty awesome too, haha.
