Wow! I'm gone for about a week and everything gets all weird looking. I'm taking a little break from being in IL. I'll be in Rowland Heights/Diamond Bar, CA area for a couple of weeks. Who's in this area?

Hey Chang! Visiting family? I'm not too far from you. If you ever get bored try and go to Puente Hills mall, about 5-10 minutes away. They have a store there, Advance Cutlery, that you might want to check out. They don't have a very good selection, but you could always go there for a good laugh looking at the wall hangers that they have.

Ya, check out Advance. Say hi to Max and Ellen for me. It is one of the chains that wants to carry my knives. Pretty cool.

R.W.: I don't have the car, so I might not be able to get to Puente Hills except by bus. But I'll try to stop by Advanced Cutlery again this year (I went there last year).

Kamagong: I just went by the Brea mall store, Knife Gallery, but I haven't gone by the Puente Hills mall this year yet. Knife Gallery has a pretty good selection of knives: S&W (including some of the new models which actually look fairly well made), CRKT, BM, MOD, some stuff that looks like Running Dog, Ka-Bar, Ontario, CS, Buck, and some pretty goofy looking swords.


Does anybody want to hang out together for a little while sometime? I'm sure I can get to most places using the overly complex bus system around here. I'm from a smaller city in Illinois, and our buses are pretty simple. Your California city bus systems are really complex. Hurt my brain to read all the maps.
