change fonts and colors

Could someone walk me through changing fonts and colors. Evidently I suck at these internets.

You have a choice of three different editors here, which makes it difficult to give step-by-step directions since I don't know which one you're using. If you see a bunch of icons above the box you type your post into, try rolling your mouse cursor over them and see what help messages appear....

The help file markksr posted a link to tells you how to write the code out yourself. That still works, but there are easier ways now, depending on which editor you choose.
