Don't post many here, but this one was such a swing from what I usually do that I kinda wanted some thoughts. It's a customer request for a boot knife. He layed out the basic thinking and let me take off from there. The blade is forged 5160, 6" long, 7/8" wide and a little less than an 1/8" thick at the ricasso. Over all length is 10 1/2" to the rear guard. Both guards are brass with copper, black and red spacers. The handle is nicely figured walnut finished matte with wax top coat. This is a very fast blade and very flexible. Showed it to the customer this morning and thought he wasn't going to give it back for the sheath. The sheath is going to be a project in itself and I may be hollerin' for help.

I think it's a cool looking knife. The walnut might not stand the test of time if it isn't stabilized but other than that, very cool

I love long thin blades like that. Nice looking knife. I can see why the customer wouldn't give it back.
