I just ordered steel this morning. Prices on the larger 1/4" steel has really gone up since last year. I`m talking steel for the hawks, so in the future, when I get any orders for hawks, before the steel is ordered, I will be taking a deposit to cover the steel. No deposit when the customer places the order, only when I contact them to let them know I am ordering materials for their order. I think that`s fair.

I agree 100% and have no problem in the least putting a deposit on ANY knife I order from you. You should not buy materials for a project and be stuck out. I'm sure nobody else would mind either!
