Changes to Hammer In Cost

This year the ABS is changing their fees for hammer ins to encourage additional attendance. For this reason this years Big Sky Hammer in fee is being reduced to $135 per person from $175 and the spouse fee for meals is changing to $40 from $35. Kids under 16 get in free.

My meal cost this year went up $5 so I had to add to that spouse rate.

I had priced my hammer in right at the point where we would break even but the ABS is less concerned about that but instead would like to encourage greater participation nationwide. I do not do an auction here so the only money we bring in is from registrations.

Those of you who have paid your attendance for this year will be reimbursed at the hammer in. If you have any questions please let me know. This information will soon be updated on my website.

Since the fee is now less I would expect that your are all coming, right? :D

Thanks.

Well i suppose since you dropped the fee i could show up...........................should i bring my traveling partners too?

Well sure, now that you dropped the price...I'll consider it. Does that price include enetrtainment such as seeing and anvil fly and what about camping fees in the non-sprinklered section?

That sure is good deal, Josh. That will take care of a full tank of
gas:thumbup:

Looking forward to learning a lot.

Best regards,
Dana

Josh,
You could consider the difference a "damage deposit" to be refunded at the end of the weekend to those that behaved well and managed to not destroy any of your stuff. I bet you'd wind up keeping half to two thirds of the difference. ;)

Erik, the reduced price did not apply to you, just everyone else. Sorry.

Jon let's hope all the clothes stay on since 99 percent of the hammer in are middle aged men. :barf:

Buddy, now we're talking. Maybe I shouldn't have said anything and kept all the extra! I need to remember to call you when planning my hammer in. :D

Thanks guys.

That must be one teeny tank Dana lol .Mine takes 140litres @ this mornings price of a mere $1.14 per litre . Enjoy the hammer-in guys.

Josh,
If I lived close enough where I could take a cruise there on my motorcycle in a reasonable amount of time, I would BE THERE. I have a couple of trips planned in the 1000 - 1400 range but Montana is a LOT farther than that.

Peter,

Fly out and then rent a motorcycle and cruise up through Glacier Park. You'd love it.

Josh,
I'm sure I would. I have been wanting to do some riding out west as there are many sights that I have not seen. I would like to cruise on the PCH as well. The plans I have already made for this year about exausted my travel funds.

Also, the way the airlines are operating these days I am not sure I would put my faith in them to get me to my destination as scheduled:(

There is always next year:D

I'll be driving our little 97 Nissan PU - 4 banger. Not the greatest thing when it comes to
comfort but, at 30+ mpg, it beats taking the 4Runner.

Thanks,
Dana
