Changing an email of an old name?

Just curious about something. Back in the day I had an account on here that still seems to be active but, since in my foolishness in tech school, will not allow me to access any pages because of a hotmail account but does let me log on. It is under this same name just with spaces.

Anyway, my question is whether I could get that name to work again or just have it deleted and change this one to the spaced out name?
