changing avatar

I have tried several times this morning to switch my avatar picture using a photo from my desktop, but it seems to just spin forever and tell me the file is invalid or upload of file failed.

I have already tried on separate browsers. Is this another bladeforums issue? Wait a few hours and try again?

Any advice?

I don't know what problems you might be having uploading from your desktop. Sometimes those are too large even for posting on Bladeforums. You might have better luck uploading from a photo hosting site like Photobucket or Imgur.

Sorry for your trouble Esav. Chris was trying to work the computer by himself this morning. I got it fixed for him. The file was too large, just like you said.

Sometimes the User Settings are finicky (I've had trouble changing the image on my Profile page even when I was sure I had the sizing right). I'm glad you guys got it sorted out!
