Changing bands on a Suunto watch?

I just acquired a Suunto X-Lander watch. I'd like to change the band, but it doesn't appear to use the standard spring-pins to hold them on. Has anyone changed the bands on one of these things? I'd really appreciate any hints and tips. The manual doesn't say anything about how to do it.

Hi,

I don't know about the X-LANDER but on my Vector they are threaded and simply unscrew to remove. They were rather tight to start with, I needed two well fitting small slotted screwdrivers on each end of the "pin" to get them out. I replaced the band with the lanyard.
