I want to know if anybody has swapped out nylon bushes for copper? Any performance change? Probably not as smooth, but Im sure you get slightly more rigid feel, as far as horizontal movement goes.

Anyway, I want to do it on my CRKT M16-13LE. Being a noob, I wanna know if its worth it and how easy it is to find bushes that'll match in size/thickness.

Thanks for the help.

I was under the impression they were teflon.

I dont think its worth it. If you need a rigid feel, all you need to do is tighten the pivot screw. The discs can compress a little, which would not be the case with copper washers.

Oops. You are right Inspira they are teflon.
The blade has NO horizontal play at all, but it feels a little spongey if you wiggle the tip. Its a small thing, and the teflon is very very smooth with the Carson flipper.

I guess I'll just stop whinning and deal with it ;)

Rebeltf, have ya figured out what size the washers are? I have a prowler I am about to do a few mods on and this is on the list, but I have no way of measuring so precisely. Thanks ,Steve
