Changing the “avatar disk” color

Is it possible to change the color of the “avatar disk” in the header of my posts, in my case from the magenta disk with the “I” on it to another color?

A color is assigned to the first letter of your BF name, then a shade (hue) of that color is assigned to you, so even those with the same first letter name have a different hue of color.

If it really bothers you you can simply become a paid member and then upload an Avatar of a color or picture of your choosing. Basic paid membership starts at just $10/year and goes up from there.

Or....

You can stay a free Registered Member and...

Then you could pay a one time charge of $10 and change your BF name to start with a different letter of the alphabet. Then you would get another color assigned to that letter and then you’d get your very own random hue color once again.
