Changing the color of G10 Scales

Hello everyone,

I recently purchased a Benchmade 535 Bugout that I would like to upgrade to G-10 scales. I have donor scales, but they are the wrong color.

Any suggestions on how to change the color?

Use Rite dye.

Just remember that, just like hair, the lighter the original color, the easier it is to change the color.

If your scales are black or a darker color, consider bleaching them 1st

But results are NOT guaranteed. So make sure you've got a back up pair of scales or can buy them if your scales are not salvageable after the attempt.
