Changing the detent ball on a ti framelock

Does anyone have any insight on how simple it would be to swap a worn out detent ball out for a new one? Is it something relatively simple or would it require sending the knife to the manufacturer to make sure its pressed in well enough?

It's better to send it to the manufacturer, but it's not impossible for a user to do. But it's not something that's so easy.
