I just had an idea!

(Yeah yeah yeah......amazing! But it was a "real" no brainer!)

Anyway.......just like the subject says.... Can the "plain" slab color be changed (not too concerned with the process of how).

The reason that I bring this up, as much as I love the "gray" motif of the plain Seb's.....lil change never hurts.

I'd like to see a Sebbie in the following colors: black, dark gray, silver, dark brown, british racing green, tan or light brown, dark maroon, etc..........

PS: I did a search which resulted in pretty much nothing on this subject. If there has been a thread of this nature ~ tuff!

Gig,
The slabs could potentially be anodized to some color. The problem is that the anodization will wear off. I was going to try it on mine this summer (I took an art class where I did some anodizing as side projects), but felt it would look weird.

If you want a brown kind of look, go for a wood inlay

Gig, the slabs need to be more polished for the look to be right, otherwise it looks rather dirty, a friend did one in Gold, nice but the scales had to be smoothed out and that made it more slippery......

Parts similar in texture to the Sebenza slabs are routninely "powder coated" in the custom motorcycle industry. Never heard of it being done on Ti but it would likely be worth Chris' while to try. Besides, if you carried your Sebenza in your pocket, with other stuff, for five minutes and wanted it to look new again, you could; not to mention you could change colors when the fancy struck you.

Sorry Guys!

Custom colors for the Sebenza handles will probably never come to pass as an option. But nonetheless, it's an interesting discussion! Keep up the creative thinking!!!

Thanks,
Mark
