Just a quick question regarding some knife maintenance.
I currently EDC a SOG fielder mini and the blade has some side to side play but after I've used it a couple times ie cutting card board and the sort. With the flicking and what not the pivot screw comes loosei think. I've had to tighten it a couple times which fixes the problem but I'll have to put in lock tight to really solve the issue.
My question is related to the washers that are in the knife currently. I would like to change the teflon washers to bronze washers. Any suggestions would be good. If this is a bad idea or a good idea.
I'm not too worried about voiding the warranty or what not since it wasn't a very expensive knife.
Thing is I'll have to order the right size washers and I can't find any specs online for this particular knife.
Any help will be appreciated.
