Last night I could not sleep so I started flipping through the channels and stumbled upon a couple of fellows selling knives. Not just knives but swords and katanas and some other strange looking sharp items.

317 KNIVES FOR 329.00!!!!!!!!!!

This package included folders, fixed and kitchen knives. I know these come from China and that the people there work for dirt. I know the knives are crap. But.......

Can someone tell me how they make a knife in China, ship it over here, warehouse it, set up a TV studio, purchase air time, pay the peddlers and handlers and sell it for a DOLLAR?
 
When I was 18 I fell into that show and bought one of those big package deals!!! DO NOT DO IT!!! The knives were the biggest pieces of crap. Most of the folders you couldn't even use safely because they would randomly close on you. Don't fall into the trap. Who needs that many knives anyways!! Save up and buy high quality! You won't regret it.
 
Trust me, I was not thinking about buying them at all I was just amazed that even with them being total crap a buck apiece seems rediculous. I'll stick with Brak River.
 
$329. Thats roughly 6 Delicas, Enduras, or Natives. or Probably 5 or so Mini Griptilians. 3 710s, 3 Militaries, 3 Paramilitaries, One Sebenza, One Bradley Alias and a 710 or Military, Three Rat Series Knives, 3 Ranger Knives.
Any of those and a whole lot more would be preferable. I think money like that is better spent on an Rem 870 or a used 357Magnum :) My late grandmother bought a package deal and her grandsons and granddaughters were the beneficiaries of them. I gotta say they were cheap alright. Someone stole mine, thank god.
 
they sell them over the tv because if you saw one in person you wouldn't let anyone pay you to take them.
 
They probably don't work to well as ballast either let alone as a dependable blade.

What are you doing even watching one of them channels?
All they sell is JUNK!
When I am unable to sleep, I prefer watching some liberal news channel, like PMSNBC. It is so boring you get sleepy again.:)
 
$329?!? That's a lot of money to most folks. You could buy something nice for that - most of the custom knives advertised here cost less than that. Heck, I'd rather have six $50 knives than a truckload of useless manure. Think of how many great knives you could buy from MOS, Buck, Case, Opinel, and Victorinox for $329...

Or the clip of the liner lock folding as the television lady sticks the knife into a prop tree stump.
 
I've seen these guys on TV. It's good to watch when you can not sleep.

I'm so annoyed and irritated by that crap that it makes my bloodpressure skyrocket. I wouldn't be able to sleep all night, and it might even cause a stroke.

I really should drink more...
