Chanterelles

Mushroom season, everyone.

Now, hurry out into the woods, pick some chanterelles, put them in a frying pan togheather with some fresh rosemary, fry with butter and add some fresh black pepper. Fry some bacon and some elk burgers, make some sour cream dressing with cranberries. Toast some hamburger bread (actually i did start out with frying the bacon and then i did fry the chantarelles in the grease from the bacon- recommanded).

Final result - Hamburgers the Scandinavian way...:p

Looks really good there!

I recently brought home a huge load of chanterelles and Karl Johan (boletus edilus)

Made for a great meal...
 
Looks better than what I'm having for dinner! And its tough to beat Papa Murphy's Pizza Pie..;-)

Way past chanterelle season here, they come and go in August. Winter is starting up here already.
