Chaparral: Can I dream a little?

I just want to dream a little. I love the color of the new PM2 S110V. That is the color of G10 I have been hoping for, to a T. If I could dream and have it come true, Spyderco would make a Chaparral in Golden with these scales and the S110V steel.

Sal hinted at an FRN version when I joked about it, and I'd honestly love to see that, but I'd be down for some of that translucent blue/purple G10 as well.

Heck, I'd love to see a Chappy with some handsome wood scales as well, maybe give it the Sage 4 treatment with some bolsters, too.

I'm not a fan of titanium scales, but when Spyderco starts branching put from those (and when I'm a little less sick and broke ;) ) I could easily see myself collecting different versions of the Chaparral. And I don't usually collect much besides knives I intend to carry and use.

Yes, it would be great. But, since, at one point, I believe he was discussing what we would like to see, I thought I would offer this as an options. Of course, this would entail moving at least some of the Chaparral production to Golden and they are already overworked.
 
Unless Sal has changed his mind, I doubt any steel other than XHP will find its way into the Chaparral again. OTOH, I think dark blue G-10, polished or perhaps textured with "Anso style" corrugations, would look awesome on a Chaparral. The fact it would also make for an affordable one would be the icing on the cake.
