Chaparral CTS-XHP?

My chaparral is stamped CTS-XHP. What's up with this? Did I get lucky or is this a typo? I thought these were supposed to be s30v.

It was a rolling change to XHP. Dealers started getting them 2-3 months ago.

XHP was the steel it was originally supposed to have but they went with S30v first.

XHP blade folder for under $100, Spyderco impresses again.

Both of my carbon Fiber (C152CF) & Titanium (C152TI) Chaparrals have CTS-XHP steel and have the same very high quality goodness of the Taichung factory.
