Can anyone tell me about a French brand called Chaperon? The construction is VERY similar to an Opinel. I was hoping someone could give me a comparison of it against the durability and carbon steel/edge of the Opinel. I have the opportunity to buy one as a cheap sheeple blade, anyone know relative value? The Opinels are pretty cheap knives, but they grow on ya for some reason. Just wondering if the Chaperon is worth a second look.
