Ive been using my gas forge for bladework but there is potent a time where I need two. For different purposes at the same time. I would like to get a small charcoal forge setup but what can I use??

I was thinking maybe an old wash pan but it seems too thin.....or maybe a mini webber? Or what about the coal pan or the lid to an old elcheapo smoker? Mayne cover it in refractory cement?

Any help would be appreciated guys. And again I apologize if this isn't the correct section for this but I'm posting faster than I am receiving feedback

Old gentleman that I knew grewing up made his big tire rim for a base he welded a piece of 3" pipe to that plugged the bottom of the pipe welded a 13 ' rim on the top with a piece of expanded metal to cover the hole, near the bottom of the pipe he cut a hole for the hose off an old canister vacuum with the hose hooked on the exhaust side

There's a video on youtube of a guy making one from an old push lawnmower. Personally I like the ones made from truck brakedrums.
