Alright, it's been a while since I've been in this neck of the woods, but I'm looking for a backup/replacement to my S62, I'm not looking to spend over 80 under ANY conditions.

Charge Pros: lighter, outside access to tools, I like the bit kits, I like leatherman's warranty, and I like the 154CM steel blade, nicer sheath too, slightly more expensive, good lock, pocketclippable

Charge Cons: not as sturdy, non-AL parts will most likely rust quickly:thumbdn:
--------------
B62 Pros: better crimper, O man do I love those gears, 303 SS construction, hex construction, all black (very cool)

B62 Cons: HATE HATE HATE the leather case (but I have purchased a solution already), I already have one, do not like the knife that comes with it, costs slightly less, can pull parts from my existing S62, dislike the philips bit
-------------

Same Pro: Like the V-cutter on both, both have a crimper (absolute must.), both look really cool

Same Cons: sadly both expensive, there probably never will be a fully flat ground knife blade for a multi, No 'real' wire stripper (I mean like one that does different gauges specifically)

--------------
Any ideas guys?

Thanks
Phil

I have the Charge XTi (very similar to the Charge ALX) and several of the PowerLocks and I like them both.

...No 'real' wire stripper (I mean like one that does different gauges specifically)

The PowerPlay Multi-Tools (manufactured in collaboration with SOG) have built in wire strippers in the pliers (see first photo) and SOG will be releasing a wire stripper accessory (see second photo) for the Powerlock.
