I have only recently become more interested in custom blades so despite growing up less than 50 miles from Georgetown, KY I had never heard of Clifton Knives.
Last month I was presented with the opportunity to purchase one of his blades, it had nice balance, felt good in the hand and the handles were mammoth ivory. I got the guys number and decided to think on it and do some research rather than jumping in feet first.
Since then I've spent a little time looking for representations of his work online they are few and far between, but they seem all be of nice quality and similar price to the one I've got my eye on. Since its not a knife I would edc, more like something I would set back and fondle from time to time I was wondering if any of you guys here on bladeforums was familiar with his work? Doesn't seem like there are any discussions on him when I searched the forums so this might be a long shot, but any input is appreciated.
