This knife, has a Scandi-ground S30V blade. The scales are "lager ale" polished G-10.The pocket sheath has grommets, you can use these for a necker,or a belt loop dangler, witch is what I prefer,it keeps the knife and sheath standing straight up in my left pocket, that's the way I like it,and I really like this knife.

Nice knife. I have a couple of his knives and want another. He really makes a quality knife.
I am really into Charlie's knives.Hard workers,real high quality.I've been through a few models,now I'm down to four,a pair of Pocket Rockets:

That is a great looking knife!! I am quite fond of Charles Mays' work as well. Congrats.

Here is another little Charles May. About 6 1/2 inches, D2, tan G-10 with a black liner. (I got this one from VCM3)

I like both the knives shown in this thread. Is the handle of the bird & trout green like in the first photo, or more yellow like in the second?

Keith,
It is a definite yellowish color. It has a translucent look to it.The black liners, make it more solid looking, though.Very uniquuff.
Believe it or not,but Charlie was telling me what he had in the shop to use,he mentioned he had one piece of the Lager ale.... I went for it sight un-seen.
I have come to realize, that some materials,I never would order,I would like, once I had the knife in hand,to see.
No doubt,my gut instinct paid off on this knife. What is nice about this one,is that the G-10,is durable, the S30V - Stainless, and the grind,so easy to re-sharpen,the grind IS the angle. So with all that, paired with a good utility size, this is perfect for EDC and harder use
Thomason's knife is a Spear point Pocket Rocket,so are these,clip & spear point :
