Three new knives from Charles May I ordered & thought you would like to see them. These have S30V SS blades, black liners & mosaic pins

This little knife is called a Cow Killer, named after a wingless wasp known for it's painful bite. Here it is in it's leather pocket sheath by Charlie

Another small one,a B&T style,the "Bob White",in pocket sheath

I'm real pleased with these knives, they are perfectly ground and razor sharp.A fantastic hand rubbed finish.Charlie's leather work is as his knife designs, clean, simple, functional & attractive.
Enjoy the pictures & Thanks Charlie for the great knives,
-Vince

This knife has a good size handle, and feels good, should make a great useable all around filleting butchering type knife

I specified a straight grain ironwood on this

That is a "fuzzy" lanyard & custom bead on this knife

Thanks for sharing.... although at first I was wondering if you were just going to tease us with pictures of knives in their sheathes :D

They look very nice and useful.

A great May trio, Vince. Charles really makes a super knife, and has a wide selection of models to choose from. He makes them scary sharp. I have a D2 Refuge than hangs around as one of my favorite small, out-of-pocket knives.

Thanks for sharing!

- Joe

Those are ALL fantastic knives!! I LOVE his work. I also have a Bob White too. CONGRATS!!

Thanks for all the great comments. It's been a great weekend checking these out & I am really happy I added that FishBone knife to the order,it is a useful knife, may just be the sharpest knife in the house right now
These knives were well worth the wait time.Charlie was right on time with his projected time frame, too
Thanks Again Charlie,
-Vince

Nice Vince. I have three of Charlie's knives on order that I'll probably still have to wait another year for.

Your pal,

Roy

'May' I show a couple more? :D

Here is an image of Charlie's Refuge I mentioned earlier (from his site). 7 1/4-inch OAL, 3 1/4-inch blade, D2 steel, orange G-10 with black liners.

Then, I just picked up a Stump. 8-inch OAL, 3 5/16-inch blade, S30V steel, green cnavas micarta with black liners. Great all-purpose utility knife with nice sized handle.

Nice knives, Vince. How about shooting a close up
of the name etch and sending it to Harry Mathews
for the project of knifemaker's name logos he is
putting together?

All the best,
David Darom (ddd)

David,
Something like this ?
I don't know who Harry is,perhaps you can load this & send it ? TIA,
-Vince
PS Joe ,awesome!!!

Nice assortment Vince. Looks like you've got all your bases covered.

I might have to order a Cow Killer. I LOVE yours Vince!!

Charlie makes an amazing knife!!

Suzanne,The Cow Killer feels great in hand. He's got a great design on that one, your index finger stays nice behind the guard made by the profile. That one has no exposed tang,at the butt & 3/32" stock,Scandi grind I tweaked it a bit

These small fixed blades are great to combo up,with a folder, for an EDC set up.

Here's the Bob White with a Halfrich LB5 medium,lightweight

Here's the Cow Killer, with a Kerry Hampton Swayback Jack (Westinghouse Ivory Paper micarta on that)

In the winter I put these fixed blades in my top shirt pocket I usually have a flannel on with a button down pocket, they fit in there pretty good kinda on an angle.I don't even know its there 'til I need it

Great stuff per usual Vince!

I like the lil' Bob White.
The Refuge is ready to work.

But there is something about that Fishbone that speaks to me with it's timelessness... old school traditional.

Guys, these May's are the cat's ass.

Nice guy who makes a great knife!
