I saw this posted by Terrill Hoffman over on KF, and I HAD to post it here  Looks like an excellent size and shape for a field knife. Looks compact and tough with a stout point. Wish I never saw it though, now I want one!

I guess there will be more info on it in an upcoming Tactical Knives.

I like the looks of a lot of his blades, they are just to darn expensive for me.

:thumbup:Great knife ! wish i had not seen it either :D thanks !!!!:grumpy::p:) only good thing is at this time it is out of my budget...

That is freaking cool! He does some awesome work. Actually, that reminds me a lot of the Fiddleback Bushcrafter. Andy's work is great stuff by all accounts and would run probably half of that price.

T, I am starting to think you don't like any of us...you are trying to break our banks man. That is one stout little knife.

Terrill has a great review/article in the new issue of Tactical Knives on the OSK!

It's hard to go wrong with a Charlie May knife. :D

I have seen the knife and I have held this knife. It is as nice as it looks. If the photo makes you want one, you should put one in your hand.

I own five Charles May knives. Charles May is a stickler about his knives.
I also have four more on order.
Everyone is entitled to his own opinion; and, in my opinion Charley makes as fine and usuable, well make knife as you can find.

Charley puts a lot of thought in the construction of his knives and the use of the same.

How do you know you can't afford one of these???
His knives are not unreasonable. His wait time has grown.

I have been waiting months for Terrill Hoffman to break the news about this model. That is why I went ahead and placed my new orders, cause I knew after handling the OSK1 that Charley is going to be busy.

Someone please tell me how much this new OSK-1 will be. Charles does not have it on the web site yet........So how do you know how expensive it will be?

that does look like a cool knife.... looking forward to checking out the TK article.... it seems like mine takes forever....:(

Man thats cool looking. I'm a big fan of Charles May knives.

(Also, thanks for the shout SP!!)

DANG!!!!!!! Somehow, he got the blade shape that I've been trying to wrap my brain in for the longest time: an "almost-spear wharncliffe!"

This is the biggest knife Charlie has ever made. S30V with desert ironwood.

This one is his Bigwoods model, once I put one of these in my hand I had to have one. D2 with desert ironwood. Kenny Rowe universal sheath.

Here are my first five. Charlie has many other tricks up his sleeve.

The OSK1 is going to make him even more busy.
I know this thread started several days ago, but I didn't have my photo set ready until today.

Someone please tell me how much this new OSK-1 will be. Charles does not have it on the web site yet........So how do you know how expensive it will be?

That link above shows $295

BTW, what does "OSK" mean ? If it means "Outdoor Survival Knife" then show me the "ISK"............you know........for Indoor survival !! ;)
