Here is a couple of images of an eight inch fighter that Charles Vestal has started to make for me. As I get more photos I will post them.

The Blade is eight inches of CPM154 and there will be interior mammoth ivory scales. After it is completed it will be sent to Paul Long for a sheath.

This will be great - Charles does terrific work. I've been wanting a Loveless-style piece for some time now, and he's on the short list.

From what I have seen of Charles Vestal's knives you will be thrilled.

Looking forward to seeing it progress.

I got my first chance to handle and examine a Vestal piece at the Blade Show and I was VERY impressed, not only with the knife but his Loveless inspired sheath.

His mirror polish/fit/finish was extraordinary.

That's looking good already, can't wait to see it finished

Looks like a beauty already, even without scales. Loveless lines are so incredibly satisfying to the eye.

Here is an image with the blade taped off and the ivory scales attached. The focus isn't great, but you'll get the idea.

Should be one to be proud of, Keith.

I just wanted to post Coop's great photos of the knife and Paul Long sheath so that folks checking it out in the future would get to see how great both are.

And they sure ARE!

Congratulations Keith. I wouldn't be able to put that down if it were mine:D

Both knife and sheath are just exquisite.
