News are now surfacing through his colleagues and his girlfriend, that, despite his good humor, he was worrried for his safety as he had a fatwa against him. He started to collect knives and place them all around his home in case he was being attacked in his home.
Unfortunately, it did not help him survive, plus, he was attacked in his office, and according to French laws, you can have a knife at home, but you can't carry it outside (unless you are a hunter / fisherman), let alone have one in your office.
Anyway, which knife could have been effective against an assault rifle ?
