Charlie Weiss has been out of the knife business for a couple of years now as he's been doing gun engraving, but within the past couple of months has gotten back into it. This morning he totally suprised me with this knife, what he's calling his City Knife. Charlies' knives have a fit and finish that equals or betters some of the more famous makers and his reputation/price of his knives confirm this. Charlie did an outstanding job in fit finish, balance and quality materials. Its good to see him making knives again.

Charlie Weiss is one of the best knife makers around, He is also my very good friend. Its good to see him back. Paul.
 
I've never had the pleasure of seeing his work in person, but from the looks of that City Knife, I'd say Mr. Weiss is a true craftsman! What beautiful lines!

There's something about the looks of this beautiful knife that makes it stand out.
It looks perfectly made in every manner.

They aren't Bowies but I wouldn't mind having either one of these outstanding knives in my collection.
 
I saw a beautiful Weiss at a show recently, but it was out of my price range, I honestly would have paid for a good picture of it !!! It had been scrimmed and engraved!
 
I am ashamed to admit that I have not heard of Charlie Weiss but now after seeing his knives, I don't think I will forget that name! :)
