Charming Little Find

My father received a plastic box full of tweezers, two magnifying glasses, and around seven knives. One of them, possibly my personal favorite, is the star of this thread. The box was from the same woman that gave us a bag of scissors, and my dearly missed Queen No. 11 Utility :(. The handles are a striking black and yellow plastic mix, and the two little blades sharpened up quite easily and have strong snap, a 6 or 7 I'd say. Not quite sure of the edge holding ability of these two blades, but I am hopeful. The tang stamp reads"VALLEY FORGE CUTLERY CO" on the secondary blade, and on the main blade with the addition of "NEWARK NC". Anyways, on to the pictures.

You're right, it was a charming little find, as well as a good one. It must have been a good knife, because the owner sure used the heck out of it but took care of it. Very well used, but not abused. It was a companion to someone for many years.

Nice find, take a closer look, the stamp should read Newark NJ. not NC.
Valley Forge was owned by H. Boker & Co.
Very cool knife congrats

Sweet knife! The shield goes well with that handle.
What happened to your Queen? I saw that thread a few weeks back

Very nice. I hope that one of my knives looks like that in another 15-20 years.

Thanks for the info, I guess I really don't know my states.

I was peeling an apple with it in my dining room (Not easy to lose things there) and put it into my sweatshirt pocket after I cut the apple up. I then ate the apple and watched some TV in the next room. Went into my pocket and it was gone. I think I'll search the couch now.

After searching the couch twice, and knowing that it was cleaned and moved around before Thanksgiving with no knife, I can safely say that the Queen is gone :sorrow:. But, easy come, easy go applies here; so I should not become too emotional.
