Charter Oak Handles?

Ive had this handle for a while, it came with an axe I bought. Nice shape, albeit a bit warped. The striking part is how *incredibly* thin it is at a smidge under 3/4 of an inch thick. Has a nice shape and will accept some bending to make it easier on the chopper. It is made of white Oak instead of the usual hickory, which is interesting considering the name Charter Oak. I was wondering if anyone else had come across any of these? There seems to be a connection to Collins but not much else on the web at first glance.
 
Yesteryearstools.com says that Collins had a label called "Charter Oak"

Stamped charter oak, with an acorn! I have been patiently waiting a charter oak dbl for years!!

This dbl bit head came to me off ebay in the last 2 months...without a fight 🪓😎
