Well it is about time I post some pics of my knives. I thought I would share my favorite knife that was inspired by the BM730CFHS. I found Chase off of these forums and when I was in Iraq, I had my trusty BM806D2 sent off to get transformed. The mods that were done, cross weave pattern CF scales, M2 blade and 440C back spacer. When I got this back from him I sent the blade and pocket clip off to get ION bond coated.

That ION bond coating looks great. What's the story behind it?

Great mod to a nice knife.

Last year I took a Pat Rodgers carbine class in Mo., when I went I had bought an ION bond coated Young M16 carrier from Wes Grant at MSTN.biz. After 1500 rounds over three days and absolutely no wear what so ever, I was sold on ION bond. It wasn't much later that I sent this knife off to be coated.

Chase does great work, doesn't he? He's done a couple of things for me and it's been outstanding in every way.

I think he took the project on in early 2007 and I got it back around June 2007, so it has been a while since it it was finished. If you google him he has a web site with samples of alot of his work.

That is a fantastic looking knife. Be proud of that one, it may be the best looking 806 I have seen.

That is a beautiful work done on that folder. I have a customized AFCK folder, the earlier model with a liner lock. carbonfiber scale, micarta back spacer and a polished blade, but yours look nicer Mr. Matth3!
