Can someone please clarify the "Chatting" Rule??? The couple times I have made a comment in a "for sale" thread, I got an infraction for chatting and was told to use the PM feature for questions or comments ! Nearly EVERY "for sale" thread out there has "chatting".

Not trying to stir the pot, but would just like to know why some have received an infraction, while others carry on a whole conservation with nothing happening ?

Please read the FAQ.

"why some have received an infraction, while others carry on a whole conservation "

Moderators can't read every thread every day.

Questions concerning the sale or about the item for sale are allowed. Anything else is chatting and should be done via PM/Email.

Basically, Karda is correct.

if you have a relevant question about the item for sale, you can ask. We prefer these conversations occur in PM or email, but we do allow it in the thread.

However, if you make a comment such as 'nice decoration on that Reeve production', or Dealer XYZ is selling that knife for $100.00 less, then you will either be warned or infracted, because those comments are not allowed.

if you see something in the Exchange area that is a violation, then click on the triangle in the right upper corner pf the post, and follow the instructions. That will send a report to the moderators, and we'll deal with it from there.

Please click on the link in my sig line to read the FAQ's.
