Hello all!
Yes, newbie question (we all have to start somewhere)

I just received a Chaves Ultramar in trade and was wondering what can I do to make the blade deploy smoother? It's kinda stiff to open with 1 hand. The knife is absolutely beautiful.

I think a lot of Reate-manufactured knives are really sensitive to any lock bar pressure when opening. Try to really not put any pressure on the lock bar when opening or you will probably have a hard time breaking the detent
